I think I finally cracked the SCOTUS trust my dad had internalized the other day. After many years of slowly acquiring muscle mass, I am finally ready to accept that it's been a bad thing in part. I am a lanky & fast person by nature but I balanced myself out by becoming stronger. In that effort, I lost a little speed but a lot of stamina. It's not like I have a faulty heart but I can tell that it just isn't built for my current weight. It's just so goddamn hard to run at over 200 lbs for more than a few hundred feet. I need to dial back the weights by a lot and just go for stamina again, even cut muscle to that end. I'm literally going to spend like the next 6 months at the gym doing very little weight but sets of like 50.
I'm about 220 but I'm fully convinced my optimal weight is like 180. I need to get back to that because I will feel better.
