Yeah, I think what this falls into is less about control and more about shifting environmental issues onto consumers as a whole. The carbon emissions from industrual manufacturing and billionaire private planes are too hard to go after, so lets just shift it onto people who cant lobby in opposition. I feel like thats the mentality. And its a similar mentality to recycling which has been an absolute failure. Its just not the first thing to go after in my opinion.

It’s definitely true that carbon emissions from airplanes is a problem, but I think that a carbon tax would be a better solution than this. But it’s definitely something that will have to be addressed.
