So youāre saying itās non-fungible in the context of its history? Just trying to wrap my head around this.
i.e. strip its history away from it, is it not the same thing? 1 coin is the same as another coin, etc. The history of the coins is what makes it non-fungible despite the coin being the same?
but... but...
#bitcoin is fungible!

Can you explain your take here?
I assumed this was the case and thought it was on my end but I think itās on his because heās the only one I CANT send messages to. Iāll ask him this later, thank you

Fuck it, I will stay at this account. Iām back old friends.
I do have one particular issue though⦠So I onboarded one of my friends to Nostr and for some reason, I can send messages to others on #0xchat and receive from others, and I can also receive messages from my friend but it will not let me send messages to him.
Does anyone know why? Would love some help from #nostr or anyone who loves #bitcoin and would be willing to help
I am back. I am changed. I am more humble, more curious, and a bit wiser. I am also cringing at my old posts. Like this & I will dm new npub. Thereās a few of you I want to keep as I move forward.
Need a break from Nostr with both Bitcoin maxis and hardcore Monero-loving Bitcoin haters going completely full retard.
Realized how dumb it is to try to get info from random people I donāt follow nor know. Monero lovers have their agenda, Bitcoiners have their agenda, itās bullshit political sides all over again ā and of course, it seems like most people are not a realist at all.
What an absolutely clueless retard, thatās unreal man
If thereās a fork is it not an entirely different asset at that point? So why would that matter
Whereās the lie?
Respectfully, you keep making statements like that based off assumptions but theyāre also very generic and vague. Perhaps Iām just naive, but how can a decentralized network be fully controlled by a government?
If itās legal tender and you can pay your taxes with it, wouldnāt there have already been enough regulation or else they wouldnāt allow it to be used as payment?
Not to sound like a hardcore Republican boomer, which I am not, but wokeism is genuinely retarded and I hate it with a passion.
Anyone for that garbage seriously lacks common sense and does not live in reality.
When/if (they are) countries start buying, you donāt think Australia will change their actions and start buying and be more Bitcoin-friendly?
You can still self-custody, right? And accused by who of being tainted? Is the Australian government just monitoring all of it in and out of exchanges and custodial wallets?
Is this your assumption or have you seen rumors on such policy being implemented?
Is Australia taking a pro-Bitcoin stance for the future?
āwhen banks and Bitcoin will be clearly censoredā ā Respectfully, what are you even referring to? Many governments are open to buying and some countries are buying, how will it be āclearly censoredā?
What stats? Monero being used more for payments doesnāt necessarily mean that more places accept Monero as payment than Bitcoin. Iām just skeptical on its practicality if the world settles on Bitcoin as money, it wouldnāt seem relevant at scale to me.
At the same time, yes I am a fan of the coin itself and I love the maximum privacy. My point basically is what good is your money if nobody uses it and itās hard to obtain? These are completely fair and reasonable questions.
With all of the stuff about to happen, Germany is going to be laughed at for decades to come for selling all of their #Bitcoin at $54k.
They will become a laughing stock and a constant meme. Iām sure many of their citizens are going to hate their government even more after thatā¦
