Performance and cohesive experience. nostrdb and just reporting actual counts would go a far way. Things working in the way people assume them to work matters.

You need interesting people, influencers, and from a vast variety of fields, not just bitcoin, only meat, longevity and co.

These people sign exclusive deals with platforms. Here they can crowdfunding. Much more powerful. But a kickstart funding would go a long way. Bring in 10 for 1M.

Now that you mention it, some Signal/App Store/APK drama does seem familiar.

There's always been sketchy 3rd party app stores (F-Droid is WAY overrated). But this ApkPure looks awesome. Just rediscovered it upon your prompt. They seem to copy all actual APK's from the real Play Store too as a backup. They have past APK versions too, for when devs go wreck an update.

So it seems you could just default to APK Pure (being risk aware of course), bypassing the Play Store entirely. They have their own app too. Need to do some more research on them and any iPhone IPA (non-jailbreak) equivalent.

Thanks. Will look into that. Def a big plus over iOS. The apple privacy advancements are great. Wish they would allow to install apps without having to use their store.

Android is easy, direct APK download or 3rd party app store.

iOS I stopped building for. Too much BS. But are there no 3rd party, non-jailbreak iOS app stores/install methods? We used Diawi back in the day for IPA installs during testing. Suggestions, Apple crew?

All decentralized apps in the world will not help, if we cannot get apps running on mobile without these stores. Relying on web only is not a valid solution. Do you see a way out?
