Should Non-OnlyZaps users should still be able to send likes to OnlyZaps users? I think this one struck a nerve which I kinda get. My reasoning was they wouldn’t be able to see it anyway so why provide the option, but people don’t seem to like having the right-to-like removed.

Personally I won’t be using #OnlyZaps mode. A 🤙 is like a smile, it costs nothing and is a simple acknowledgment that you are being seen.

While #Zaps are appreciated, I think a comment > ⚡️ or 🤙. A comment shows that someone has actually spent their time to interact with a post, and allow for further interaction, which is how the community and friendships here have been built.

The great thing about #nostr though is that everyone has options and can use it however works best for them! 💜

Strict? Who defines how one zaps?

I’m just n=1 but I’m already finding myself just scrolling past posts without a like because I don’t use zaps how others use them - only zap things that I truly find helpful, interesting, funny or beneficial in some other way.

I wonder if that’s them worried about facing deficits (or risking the discovery of new deficits). Our recreational officer usually has great engagement with art and art therapy sessions, but I don’t know what approach she uses

Because if they’ve done art at school they are rarely taught the fundamentals beyond very basic colour theory. I tell them it’s like learning a language or music, get atelier lessons and practice, or books and study them, absolutely anyone can do representational art if that’s what they want to spend time on!
