There's so much confusion in the world

It has the same proprietary liabilities as any search engine so it doesn't really work as a more curated version of that, and otherwise is implemented in only scammy ways. That's not to say it can't eventually be a net positive for humanity but until certain systemic malaties are fixed it'll never reach that potential so until then Fuck AI.

Been toying with the idea of going full #vanlife in my head. The freedom of movement is certainly very alluring.

Yuka is based on this project:
https://world.openfoodfacts.org/
There is an open source app similar to yuka called smooth:

It is available on Fdroid and works also via Obtanium

My friend just showed me this app but even with Google play services and Play store enabled its still unusable on #GrapheneOS as it prompts you to download it from the actual play store itself. Anyone know of a good open source alternative? I love the concept of this app and as it was demonstrated to me it seems to be incredibly useful!
Money is a container for value not the value itself. If more value gets added to the economy and the number of moneys stays the same then each denomination of money is worth more relative to every other commodity, making everyone who saves this form of money incrementally over time. This incentivizes frugality and disincentivizes speculative waste. Progress wouldn't stop it would just become more deliberate
