The summer is the busy season for my place of work and I've let exhaustion get in the way of my enjoying the weather in my off time in the past but these past two years I've really struck a nice balence, feels nice
Yes, but actually no. The ability to enact and enforce laws is expressed through the government, but different interest groups are constantly fighting for the power to influence the government. The elite pretty much dominate that struggle, obviously, and are successfully suppressing wages as the dollar debases, pocketing the difference and putting it into real assets.
Yes in a vacuum but there is a political struggle outside of raw market forces whereby people are kept poor, vulnerable, and always working. This has artificially stunted wage growth. An average week's pay buys way way less now than it did 50 years ago, or even 10 for that matter, yes? Why advocate for burying people inside the Fiat Trap?

Just pointing out the reality of inflation theft. How are people who aren't self employed supposed to fight that? Saving in Bitcoin for sure, but for those with more immediate needs direct action is necessary, and that translates banding together to fight for higher wages.
Almost boosted and zapped, had me till minimum wage lol. Profits have kept up with inflation, and so have consumer prices, it's bullshit that wages doing so would somehow wreck everything.
