I live in Nova Scotia, with my husband, border collie and three Cornish Rex cats. I seem to spend 90% of my waking time in the kitchen, cooking and the rest out walking my dog. Full (almost*) Moon

Tonight and tomorrow will be the full moon, this time the "Harvest super" moon. It's not our biggest this year, but is our fourth and final 'supermoon' of the year and might be a little brighter than the others. In honour of this, I'll share a few of my favourite moon photos over the next day or so.

I have been nurturing these black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars for a while, sacrificing my dill plants in the interests of local ecology. This is the smallest one, on a lovely rich dill plant where I moved it. Then came the rain yesterday... wait for that post...
