A lot of you have been asking us when are we gonna open the hackerspace: the short answer is that there have been delays, but things are moving forward.

We finally ordered a shitload of hack.bs.it stickers. The designs are badass, but I kinda don't want to spoil them, so here's a picture of my afternoon snack.

"But wait, I don't live in Brescia". Well, we've got you covered: we will livestream our public events (and maybe some hacking sessions too) and publish all of our code to the world. We are a local entity, but our projects will have a global impact
We will also use our base to host meetups, workshops and more. We plan to organize at least one event every week, open to everybody. During these events we will educate the public, and explain why today digital freedom is more important than ever
Our base will become our research lab: many people from different backgrounds will work together on open-source, free, hardware and software. We have so many ideas in the pipeline, and we haven't even opened yet! 🧪
(and also, most of us are developers, so... yeah...)
