Don't you think that Bitcoiners talk too much amongst themselves and should also open up to the world outside of the "blockchain"? Sometimes I get the impression that many people's perception of the complexity of #Bitcoin is actually the hurdle preventing mass adoption. Using Bitcoin doesn't require understanding its protocol, just like using a credit card doesn't require understanding its technical workings. Is it better to understand it? Without a doubt, but it's something that can be encouraged later on. Let's start by explaining why Bitcoin is important and how it can be used simply without the need for intermediaries. The rest will follow naturally.

The better approach in my opinion is to simply point out the flaws with the current system and not even mention #Bitcoin directly.

Better to lead the horse to water so to speak. People need to understand the “why” of Bitcoin first and foremost.

This is a good point of view and an excellent strategy. And since no one (or just a few) is satisfied with the Establishment it can only lead to excellent results. But apart from that, what I regret is seeing (here in the area of Italy where I live) few events aimed at those who want to start approaching Bitcoin and would prefer to be able to interact directly with a person rather than seeking out information on their own, often confused, distorted, or extremely technical, online.
