An alternative to Tor that has users stream sats to pay relays seems like an obvious next step in network level privacy tools. Streaming sats would greatly increase the costs of the DDOS-style attacks that affect Tor so much, and provide an incentive for relay operators.

I was able to get it to work using "New Wallet"!

Friendly feature request to #[3]:

Allow users to accomplish the same thing through the "Import Wallet" dialog by adding a Scan button next to the Load File button on the Output Descriptor row.

This will make writing directions for disaster recovery or inheritance *much* simpler.

Yep, it’s not too far off now, but unsure if it will see much adoption tbh. The need to do two rounds with each signer is a major downside, particularly if they are geographically remote.

TBH it feels a lot to me like what happens to people who get famous for a time, then look around and wonder why they’re poor. He has every opportunity to fork his own work, plug in licensing and offer paid support which EVERY big company would buy in a New York minute, but can’t seem to figure it out. It’s a business model used by huge OSS companies like Atlassian and RedHat.

I wonder - it seems his work was so fundamental it was hidden from most web developers by being included as a dependency in other higher level projects.
