I've been away fro a minute and now I'm back and zapping everything I see

I’ve been trying to simplify things by keeping everything in Blue Wallet. Problem is: Blue Wallet outside of WiFi is unusable (so slow). How does Phoenix perform using data vs. WiFi?

1. Pirates from the NL Central to the NL East for more games against the Phillies

2. Marlins from NL East to the AL East for more games against the Rays

3. Guardians from the AL Central to the NL Central for more games against the Reds.

4. Finally, the Jays to the AL Central (where they have always belonged) for more games against the Tigers and Twins.

I moved to Sage. No regrets.

We’re bullish on you too, Derek.

I’ll buy one, or two

Canadian here: there is a lot of subtlety that can make or break a poutine.

1. Fries (in all preparations, not just poutine) need to be blanched and cooled, prior to executing the dish. If you attend a restaurant or food truck (typical here due to refrigeration space) that just fries potato from raw: you are in the wrong spot. Walk out in disgust and leave knowing you avoided paying for a soggy, steamed mess.

They need to be cut, blanched at 275F for 4-5 minutes and cooled. Then, the cool, dry fries should be cooked at 375F until crisp and golden. Seasoned immediately liberally with a combination of fine AND coarse sea/kosher salt (and if you are feeling especially froggy: chopped thyme).

2. Layer! Whether using traditional curds or a beautiful aged sheep’s milk cheddar: toss the cheese in with the fries in the bowl you are seasoning them in.

3. Sauce: less is more and quality is key. Canned or bagged gravy is cheap, full of shit you cannot possibly understand and disposable. Hence, why the fries are usually drowning. Instead, use a beautiful rich glace de viande and only enough that you leave the customer wanting more.

Extra! Extra! “Old man manages to FINALLY connect BlueWallet to Lightning Node”

Not a dev. Not a coder. I’m not tech-illiterate but like many: I’ve been primarily depending on the slick and polished interfaces of custodial services.

LNDHub is supposed to make things easy: something is missing. It’s definitely not as easy as installing LNDHub and scanning the QR. I’m not ruling out user error but it took me a couple weeks of tinkering, scratching my head looking at the GitHub and jury-rigging the best walk-through a I could find. A lot of trial and error paid off. #proofofwork #zap #bitcoin

GM, #nostr plebs.

Luck befalls the prepared mind. Go get ‘em today!

I’m lame too. Lightning has a lot of friction and barrier to entry for folks like me who more or less always been end users, depending on simple interfaces.

I managed to get Zaps outgoing via my Umbrel but still use WoS to receive. I cannot seem to Alby’s Nostr Wallet Connect, Zeus or anything else set up to RECEIVE LN transaction on Nostr.

The education continues…

I can’t help but to think the quickest and most direct path to mass adoption would be for nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak to license his work to Lin-Manuel Miranda.
