It is juicy and delicious but not even close to a Texas bbq brisket.

Cooked too high and too short ?

Nah it's cooked quite well but my rub didn't make a bark, didn't brine it probably could have let it rest longer

Yeah 100%. And I think I should use liquid smoke too

if you dont have real smoke give it a try, ive never tried it

Looks delicious….. but it need that nice pink smoke layer

My rack of ribs that I made yesterday were smoky they I burped up smoke for 24hrs.
