If I’ve specified my default LN Wallet as WoS in my settings, why do I have to then manually select WoS when I #zap someone?

💯 it’s been an active discussion lately with #damus (optionally) allowing TestFlight users to get rid of the 🤙 reaction button.

I definitely fall into the #onlyzaps camp where comments, re-posts, and zaps are much more valuable than a meaningless reaction. My instinct is that they also increase engagement and interaction among users versus just tapping a like button.

Either way, this is an awesome experimental playground, and we will figure it out!

You mention it’s in Test Flight.

What are the odds it either (a) Rolls out Damus-wide after a beta round or (b) Becomes only an option for a sub-set of users?

As much as I do like the ability to like and/or zap depending on the post, I hope the final rollout is standard regardless of the user (ie, likes and/or zaps for all OR #zapsonly for all).

Is there any way to set a standard “tap-zap” amount for this approach? Going into WoS every time only takes a few extra moments, but still feels less … organic(?).

Hello everyone, I am not able to zap or receive zaps because wallet of satoshi requires Google play, which I do not have.

I also do not want to use zaps unless it is trustworthy and as secure (self custody ln node is preferred but no option sadly) as possible.

I also do not want to need to create an account.

Any tips and help would be really nice. Thank you #nostr #bitcoin #plebchain
