My favorite thing about #Bitcoin is it pulls you into an ecosystem of people that are optimistic, curious, and always learning>building>experimenting across all facets of life. It’s a way of thinking and living and a gateway to things like #nostr that I’d probably never otherwise be exposed to. You learn real time on the cutting edge of technologies and get to interact with some of the brightest people all over the world. It’s exciting to see all the progress and how this only helps good ideas flourish even more. #cheers to the future
Trump on #Bitcoin:

I know some folks are really excited because Trump is talking about bitcoin, but I would advise caution before jubilation…
Trump was asked directly “isn’t the next logical step for you to embrace bitcoin? Because bitcoin obviously is decentralized, the government can’t get its hands on it…”
He ignored the direct question, ignored the part about decentralization and government overreach, said he likes ONE currency (the dollar), and called for regulation of bitcoin… hardly a glowing endorsement…

Agreed. Better doesn't equal good. The rhetoric is driven by the "patriotic" symbol of the dollar and the America First campaign. Ideally Vivek or others who understand it can help reframe it on the public stage (1776 style money)
