In my opinion, no.
What is deflation?
The decrease in prices.
How is price created?
demand
Price = ----------------------------
supply
What can cause inflation?
If demand ⬆️, prices ⬆️.
If supply ⬇️, prices ⬆️.
What happens if we want higher GDP?
GDP ⬆️, supply ⬆️, Prices ⬇️, which is deflation.
What will happen in such a case where we have inflation because of higher GDP/supply?
In my eye the following 2 scenario or their combination can happen:
1.) Supply ⬆️ -> Prices ⬇️ -> People buy more because it is cheap -> Demand ⬆️ -> Prices ⬆️ because of demand -> Sets an equilibrium
2.) Supply ⬆️ -> Prices ⬇️ -> People save because everything will be cheaper tomorrow -> Demand ⬇️ -> Price ⬇️ -> It does worth for companies to produce more, so they will cut supply -> Supply ⬇️ -> Price ⬆️ -> Sets an equilibrium

I think we shall stop arguing that we need no inflation.
Not inflation is the problem. The elastic money supply. The printing of money.
Inflation is just an indicator.
If we say we don't need inflation, it could be percieved as there would be no inflation if we were using bitcoin.
In the terms people think about inflation, there can be inflation. The prices can change in a fixed money supply economy either. But it will purely because of free market forces, supply and demand forces.

Have you noticed that
#inflation inproportinatly effects the poor and middle class, who own no or less assets?
In this sense #inflation increases the #wealthgap and push more people into poverty.
So don't use inflation for fighting against poverty.
On the other hand #deflation makes things cheaper, so over time poorer people can increase their living standards.
Therefore deflation is good for fighting poverty.
