Thread hijacking trolling was something I have not seen since the old days of forum communities. But I am starting to see it on the Fediverse.

What is thread hijacking trolling?

Presume the topic is about, Gaza, and someone makes a valid point. Suddenly 1–2 accounts come in talking about the price of ice cream, and how that impacts the weather. Something that completely makes no sense. Basically, a lot of nonsense to distract away from the actual conversation.
