It's SO HARD to not measure #Bitcoin in US$ if you have grown up with US$ system (brainwashed).

I'm 8 years into this and I'm almost living a Bitcoin standard. I still have to pay taxes and some bills in US$ but it's almost to the point I'm paying everything with Bitcoin. I have some money stuck in IRAs - worst mistake I ever made funding IRAs/401ks.

But if everything holds together another few years it will all be converted BECAUSE measuring wealth in US$ has become odd for me - stupid actually.

If you can make it through a couple cycles DCAing DAILY (enough to make a difference in your life) your Bitcoin wealth will be so much bigger than your fiat, even a 70% draw down won't matter. Keep stacking SATS daily, move to cold storage every few grand, HODL 10+ years. Enjoy the ride.

I have learned what not to say. But it's hard to just stand/sit there and say nothing because you know EVERYTHING you say will be challenged or laughed at. So just stay the same stupid shit everyone else is saying, throw in a f bomb here and there, and fake laugh.

Gold has worked - nearly flawlessly. In the 1800s it gave us all we have today. Transportation, communications, automobiles, coal/oil/gas. All these technologies were from hard money times - we just built upon them.

Even before paper, Governments would clip coins. That's how profitable it is for Government to cheat the people!

Absolutely. 5 years ago I still had cancer, high blood pressure, Triglycerides through roof, fat as f@@k.

I got rid of all pills, lost 100lbs, cancer GONE (Oncologist told me you can't fix cancer with diet). I use a service, functionhealth, that tests my blood every six months w/over 100 blood test and my metabolic age is 44 (I'm 62). I feel younger.

What did I do? Meat based diet, fast 40hrs/week Sunday night to Tuesday noon. Cut out ALL seed oils (takes YEARS to get them out of system). Virtually eliminate sugar, wheat (both poison). Eat AS MUCH GRASS FED meat, ONLY pasture eggs (be careful, marketers lie), as I want. Limit veggies but we eat them - organic ONLY. Fruit is sugar, eliminate fruit except for very limited berries. I will sneak in a glass of wine (absolutely no other alcohol) and a HU chocolate square from time to time! As time has gone on, I'm slowly gettting away from that.

Your original argument was proof of humanity, not proof of work.

Bad 'cells' have LOTS of energy. But they die off if they don't have a NET GAIN of energy! Just like scammers die off when they die out due to lack of gain.

Specific to Bitcoin (which is proof of work at it's core) the network that is OUR collective stored energy in time (indefinite I might add -ONLY accessible by you spending it on VALUE added to humanity!) will grow MUCH faster than the scammers because true efficiency gains will drive the size bigger (study Power Laws).

If we see a break in the Power Laws - organic growth - then you will be right. The bad would start to win and the network would start die - JUST like all the SHITCOINS do. Altcooins are just scammers. Digital fiat UNLESS it's directly/electronically/mathematically connected to #Bitcoin/Proof of work!

Proof of work prevents the spammers and scammers.

That's why the #Bitcoin network (or world wide computer system - biggest ever) is unbroken in 15 years.

You should read Jason Lowrey's book, Soft War. It's not an easy concept to internalized. I am on my 3rd read through the book. I think the book will have historical value at some point.

I stop in the book when I question something. I research it from other perspectives/views. I have hit some dead ends with Jason where he was 'reaching' but for the most part the general thesis is sound.

From a cellular perspective, a cell eating another cell must have a gain in energy or the 'attack' would collapse life. Proof of work. The cells that do attack other cells without a net energy gain, die - this keeps life progressing with ever more complexity.

Bitcoin brings this same theory to money - or exchange of work/energy between humans. At this point, bitcoin is the purist form of value between humans the world has ever seen.

Proof of work guarantees the strongest miners 'win' increasing the security and scope of the network - driving humanity to the next level. The Bitcoin network is growing like it's an organism evolving in nature - which is why it's following PowerLaws and other naturally occuring physics concepts.

Back to your point, this type of system will stomp out the scammers that are NOT adding true value, either in mining, or through humanitarian benefit in the exchange of Bitcoin for fiat or Bitcoin for someone elses work. Spammers HATE proof of work! 😇
