100%!

My added color is because I 'hope' someone that believes in the whole fake value thing reads this and hesitates for a moment - thinking, "...wow, maybe intrinsic value does not make sense..."

The process of de-programing brainwashed minds is a very slow process. We all need to see something many times JUST to acknowledge we 'might' be wrong! It's what makes discussions turn to arguments. And that's JUST the first step! There has to be a desire there to research things on your own, which is rare in itself.

When I hear someone mention intrinsic value, I know I'm talking to either a brainwashed person or an empty vessel. It's as clear as day to me now - but I lived, sadly, in that world for over 25 years. Just glad I was not an empty vessel - most die in that world!

Bitcoin backed by largest computer, but really it's just the largest energy plant in the world. Which is what we WANT to store OUR work/energy in life! This is so fundamental - it should be taught in schools!

I worked in the Utility industry for 40 years and I was a master at justifying projects through intrinsic value. I could show you or regulators how a totally worthless project worth 10's of millions actually had value (intrinsic of course). It took me 30 years to realize 'intrinsic value' is a hoax. Literally there is no intrinsic value in anything. It's a totally fabricated term by fiat economist to TRY and add value to something that HAS NO VALUE! It's been used to misdirect capital to the point we don't know what is true or false anymore.

Intrinsic value at the top of the list for biggest lies ever told.

But YOUR energy has value. The work you do to produce something OTHERS want. And the energy of OTHERS that produce things that YOU want.

Value is subjective ONLY due to our collective desires for what the other person produces! You may LOVE carrots, and pay a lot for them, but maybe I don't like carrots and would not pay anything for them!

So the key here is to BACK your energy, with a unit of energy, to be used ANY TIME in the future on another amount of energy (products/services of others).

My point is: If you look at what is 'backing' #Bitcoin it's that raw energy. If you make things (energy required) and sell that to someone that truly wants it, you should be able to store that energy, backed by energy - for future needs/wants.

For the first time in human history, Bitcoin actually does this. There is no subjective value with stored energy - you can own it and no one can steal it from you (just not in an ETF but in private wallets or L2 applications).

Gold was used at one time - because it did represent real energy. But because Gold is impractical as a medium of exchange, it gets centralized and Government then starts stealing wealth (energy) through fiat debasement and distortions in the 'value' of everything through taxes and regulation.

I hope this drivel hits with someone. We are at turning point in human history. Will be incredible for all, but especially good for those that see the 'gold rush' now.

Well, fortunately the big boys can't create and benefit from the printing press.

So eventually, Bitcoin will flow to the most productive.

Whatever happens between now and then matters a little, but ultimately the energy will find it's way to those that produce the most efficient energy.

Never been a better time for ANYONE to change their life.

So easy - but as you say takes unwavering conviction. Nothing is 100% but a discovery like #Bitcoin is something you will not see in generations.

Buy #Bitcoin daily (NOT the ETF). Move to cold storage every few grand. HODL 10+ years. Enjoy your entirely new life.

Learn REAL skills in the meantime so you can increase your DAILY Bitcoin buys. READ lots of books on history of money and Bitcoin to keep you steady!

Class of 2016 here. My 10 years is up next year but I will be living on a bitcoin standard in 2025 (about 99%). All Bills paid through Fold and Strike. No job. I will start living off Bitcoin in 2025 with a 5% withdraw and will still grow my holdings in US$ by 2-4X what I withdraw.

Be consistent.

I’m there - still have two stocks to get rid of, but by end of q1 2025 I will be living on a bitcoin standard. Two IRAs being closed out 2025, 2026. A big Roth IRA I have to hold for obvious reasons but it will all be in ARKB soon. Class of 2016, daily buying Bitcoin starting in 2017.

This was written in 2017 and he references it below which was released today. nostr:note1nsf7rm8sfgffh83xlpfkfht6f6wlcv39g8lwz064aacyjf6h9tysuyajwc

We don't know how Bitcoin will react to a global bust - and as the article states, it's going to break - we just don't know when.

But the author fundamentally does not understand the energy component of Bitcoin.

Be sure to read "Broken Money" too - it's a great 20 book history lesson on money condensed in one 500 page book.

LIfe is hard because of how we were raised, and the habits we form.

Once we accept a constant state of change, and you develop just one new habit at a time, life becomes easy once you have enough of the new habits internalized!

Not sure that's true historically - but it IS TRUE now!

Capitalism use to enforce antitrust rules/laws. When a company gets too big or a group of companies gets too big Government would break them up. This is a good thing. It just does not happen anymore.

BUT - and it's a big but, if you have real capitalism the big players end up being displaced by new businesses. AND, big companies start new divisions and then spin them off - because 'real' business owners know new divisions are more adaptive in the market place.

Today, before a new innovative business can get profitable, the big players sweep in with that Cheap, close to the Fed money, and buy up al the new players. Exactly the OPPOSITE that happens in a Capitalistic system.

No, that's not true.

We don't have any capitalist left, they are all socialists - directed by central control.

Capitalist work in a world where competition between individuals and companies drives the best solution. NO ONE alive today has experienced Capitalism, but a form of centrally controlled private industry (through regulation, bribes, and Global Reserve Currency dominance).

The reason these countries were destroyed was absolutely intentional by the Communist/Socialist was for the pillaging of resources!

Great book, "Hidden Repression" by Alex Gladstein. Read it. Disect it. Dig deep.

If you don't believe me, look at the circle chart below showing how nearly all commerce is owned by a few large companies - all bought and paid for through political contributions (favorable regulations and being close to the money printer).

My grandfather worked at Sears when it was Amazon - Sears created companies like AllState, Discover, that were ALL spun OFF to be independent businesses! This is how it use to work! NOW, the big companies get bigger - why is that? Answer that question and you KNOW you are not in a capitalistic world in 2025.

Well, I believe I get what you are saying. But the Christian God has been around a couple thousand years and ALL the cycles and human nature, responses, and thoughts have existed MUCH longer, 10s and 100s thousand years longer.

So Maybe God was there before humans knew it. I'm sure those that follow/believe one of the 4,000+ current religions (all believing their God is the one) would say so (even those branching off current institutionalized religion creating new ones). Most humans never knew of most of the religions we have today yet the cycles/physics remain constant (there are definitely discoveries to be made - like Zero Point Energy which could change everything).

Never the less, the Bible is an incredible story shaping society - mostly for the positive and I respect anyone that follows the core teachings and does right by others.

First off, WOW! No kidding on the memory thing. That's extremely amazing! I wonder if the limit on our natural lifespan is longer than we realize. Seeing as many people are going carnivore these days, I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing that typical expected lifespan increase for those who stick to a mostly meat based diet for a long period of time in their lives.

Ya man I don't know if our government is just blind, willfully ignorant, clumsy, misinformed, or malevolent in this regard. Maybe a combination of all the above in several circumstances considering how many people work in the US government. Ever since the US started moving away from gold, I think we forgot who to blame for what. We're just on this flawed operating system of pretend money, bad diet, and who knows what else could be flawed. It's all culture now and there are also legal tender laws too. I dunno what people can really do other than the right thing for themselves and their families.

On another note... Funny thing on the living forever idea, I've been reading through the bible out of curiosity and there are early stories where people live to ages 900 or more. It's an interesting anecdote; that someone had thought to write that years ago. Another funny thing about the book is that there is precedent for the carnivore diet. It's not like there's an endorsement or an outright command from God exactly, but there's a precedent that people preferred meat and ate a lot of it. Especially considering the fact that meat and livestock can feed a lot of people and can be used as a method of food preservation. If you keep your cow alive, then you're preserving food and perhaps increasing the food output if you feed and take care of the cattle properly.

There are also symbolic links and meaningful things regarding lamb. Lamb makes sense in a narrative context. When you kill a lamb to eat its meat so you can survive and thrive, you're effectively making a sacrifice in regards to the emotional connection and bond you would have with that animal.

It's even harder than killing a cow because sheep look really cute, at least comparatively in my opinion. This is all to say that people sacrifice sheep in the old testament stories to something higher than themselves, which would be God in context of the story. Livestock is something that's high value nutritionally and emotionally. It goes deeper with new testament stuff too but I haven't read that far in, I can just see some of the connections already.

It's a fascinating symbolic and narrative invention. It kind of comes off as genius to us these days considering we've forgotten all about the carnivore diet and had to have science rediscover it. I suppose that might have been the purpose, embed truth inside a narrative for people to discover. Though to be honest the idea kind of backfires, considering how difficult it is to actually pick up on the fact without the knowledge of the carnivore diet before hand. I dunno, the bible might be the greatest work of fiction to exist. I can see why it's transcended beyond fiction and into religion. Just food for thought! 🤔

Great conversation.

100% on the bible. I don't think it's really fiction, it's centuries of real life experiences with a fable mixed in to make it interesting - people LOVE a story. I just think in todays warped world we gravitate to assuming God is everything - when the life lessons in the bible actually explain otherwise - we are in control of our lives, people need to make it count.

On government. Intentional or Neglect? Since this is a cycle that's happened before, I think it's mostly neglect. Look at the dip shits 'serving' in the Government. There is no intelligent life working in Government.

Now, for those at the very top, the globalist. That's different. History shows the kings/queens went to drastic measures to hold on to power. I expect it to be no different this time - we are in for a rough ride. They have the internet now so the reach is global. That's why we are seeing global holly wars.

The book, "The 4th Turning" is a great read showing cycles - and it's been pretty accurate at predicting what we are experiencing today.

Living forever? Make it to 2030, that's my prediction. Our meat based diets should assure that unless I kill myself cliff jumping, wake boarding, or wake surfing - which I spend my summers doing w/kids at 62 because I found Bitcoin and Meat!

I keep hearing these stories, but have experienced none of them - and we have dozens of friends and acquaintances that own Tesla's.

On a Model 3 I had in 2018, the charge door broke and was replaced under warranty, came to my garage and fixed it. I do know one of our friends had some type of drivetrain issue and it was fixed as well.

I have had zero problems other than that on any of the Tesla's I have owned.

Not to say this is you, but many that complain about all these problems turn out to be Tesla hacks. I'm not saying there are not problems. The first several hundred CyberTrucks were a mess - still being fixed. Tesla is a fast moving company - they error on the side of 'fast changes' versus complacency. In this type of environment you will have some problems. BUT you also end up with products/services FAR ahead of the competition. Finding the right balance is no easy task!

We had 5 kids - needed 6 bedrooms+.

BUT - the reason I have so much solar is I kept buying electric cars and wanted to offset ALL my energy needs on a yearly basis for house AND cars. Currently have 3 Tesla's. But have owned 5 Tesla's and all our kids but the first drove Chevy Volts (at one time we owned 5 Volts and a Tesla).

Currently my utility bill is $15/month for house (we do have gas for heat so a couple months a year the gas bill can be a couple hundred) AND the only time we pay for any other fuel is for travel (supercharges and airplane fuel! lol).

Jay - I have tracked this data for years. I agree the Government information might be wrong, but the Tesla data has not been proven wrong.

I do admit people have been trying to discredit Tesla, well, forever. Because they are so far out in front of traditional auto on EVERY front, they can't be caught. Test drive a CyberTruck (Yes, I''m sure you hate the way it looks) - it blows away the Model Y, and the Model Y blows away everything else.

Well, what's interesting about that is I'm on my 5th Tesla. We have 17kW solar so I drive free off the sun (solar 10 years old and paid for long ago). So the newest/best form of energy, creating all other energy, is the sun. Again, just facts. Current sun energy can fuel the entire planet with 2X the population (but I agree Government should not herd people to it).

We are all free to drive what we want. I just choose the safest, cheapest transportation I can find - because it makes sense. I don't have any political or preconceived notions about the cars I drive. It's all math for me - just like #Bitcoin. ;-)

Just sayin' - Tesla electric vehicles (EVs) are reported to be significantly less likely to catch fire compared to regular gasoline cars. According to Tesla’s data, between 2012 and 2021, there was approximately one Tesla vehicle fire for every 210 million miles traveled, which is 11 times lower than the national average for all cars in the U.S.

You can review all the data here - but you are significantly safer in a Tesla electric car in every measure (fires, accidents, death). At least 10X safer.

Moving there. But keep 6-18 months of expenses in US$ so during a dip we don’t have to sell #Bitcoin (no job here - live off savings/investments). The range of time in expenses is based on where we are in the cycle (class of 2016). Move to more reserves during ATHs and less reserves during dips. Always easing in and out - no smash buying or selling. Bills are paid from Strike -
