Iâve updated the labels every year, but the overall style hadnât changed since 2020âback before Iâd even sold a single bottle.
To say the least, Peony Lane has evolved a lot since then.
This design feels more clean and focused to me.
It is a mid-bodied Cab expressed through bright red cherry and blackcurrant, finishing with smooth tannins.
Fermented with native yeast, aged for a year in Hungarian oak, and bottled without fining or filtration.
Minimal intervention means the grapes do the talking.
This is the kind of wine youâll want more of after opening the first bottleâand itâll age beautifully for 3â5 years if you hang onto it.

Can you age wine well in any woods native to your area? Kind of curious.
Eat leafy green veggies for hormesis. And antioxidants. Boil them and dump the water.
Eat veggies and spices and lots of fruit and many colors. Skip processed sugar and corn syrup.
Eat steak and eggs and pork and chicken and beans and mushrooms.
Avoid badly processed oils and enjoy good seed oils, use lard, use a variety of oils; there are so many to choose from! Donât touch crisco. Or hydrogenated.
