I located a note I wrote recently that (kind of succinctly) provides a "summary answer" to your question about what our alternative to the state is (and why)... And so here's an edited version I've prepared just for you (though I hope it will eventually become a general article):

Fasten your seat-belt! You're about to hear something that is radically different from most everything else you've ever heard about government and the church. But please don't "tune out." Instead, be like the Bereans when Paul preached to them:

> "Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so." - Acts 17:11

Although the reformers did much good in correcting Roman church abuses, they began with a fundamentally *unbiblical* world-view/foundation. They miscategorized the world into two spheres; "civil government" and "church government," when the biblical categories are "kingdom of satan" vs "Kingdom of Jesus/God."

The New Testament is in truth a handbook for God's INTENDED form of human government. "What is that?," you might well ask?

God's government is the Kingdom of Jesus, his anointed King. And it is a kingdom that is SO VERY DIFFERENT from everything we have experienced all of our lives as "government" that we have to FORGET everything we've ever learned about government, and try to grasp what God has in mind.

Ephesians Chapter One (when accurately translated) clearly speaks of God's intentions. His design is to rule the world through the means and apparatus of his ecclesia (assembly). These scattered, individual assemblies (which bad Bible translations have called "churches") are literally Jesus' bodily presence on earth. (Ephesians 1:22; Jesus is the head of EVERYTHING, exercising that headship via the MEANS of the church).

In the very first chapter of Genesis, God gave Adam and Eve dominion over creation, but NOT over one another (Genesis 1:28). The only human with a RIGHT to rule other humans is Jesus himself, by virtue of the fact that he is our Creator (Romans 9:21). Consequently, all human organizations (examples: federal, state, county, and city "governments") claiming a "right to rule" humanity are illegitimate pretenders. Every ersatz "president" and "king" and "premier" and etc. are in all truth antichrists (Greek: substitute/replacement/pseudo/fraudulent "christs"). This INCLUDES hierarchical organized churches that are organized on worldly principles.

God WARNED us of this via Samuel (1 Samuel 8) when he flatly described the people's insistence on a "king." He said:

> "...they have REJECTED ME from being King over them."

As long as we who claim to be "Christians" continue to participate in and support these corrupt, rebellious human states, we are in fact by our actions REJECTING Jesus as King.

The functions of what reformers incorrectly called "civil governance" all fall on the local assemblies (churches), and are exercised in a 100% VOLUNTARY fashion in local contexts.

As a bitcoiner and nostrich, Friend Boog, I would hope that you can readily grasp the superiority of decentralized, voluntary, non-coercive human interactions? This is how Jesus governs the world. And it is a slow, steady process of REPLACING human states with his PARALLEL government.

Jesus our King is the ONLY point of centralization in this new Kingdom. He is quite capable of running a WORLD full of local assemblies and coordinating their actions and activities. This is what he meant by the Kingdom of God advancing through the world like leaven, not easily observed (Matthew 13:33, Luke 13:20-21).

Remember these Scriptures?:

"For Yahweh is our Judge,

Yahweh is our Lawgiver,

Yahweh is our King;

He will save us—"

- Isaiah 33:22

and

"He who is the blessed and ONLY Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords"

- 1 Timothy 6:15

And what should our attitude be toward nation-states (INCLUDING the USA)? How are we to interact with all the myriad existing "fiefdoms of satan" at every level?

God laughs at them (Psalm 2).

Jesus, our Rock, the "stone cut out without hands," is rolling down from the mountain, pulverizing them to dust.

They are all self-destructing before our eyes, and we will watch them blow away into oblivion (Daniel 2).

"Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord.

“And do not touch what is unclean,

And I will welcome you." - 2 Corinthians 6:17

Does this mean we should isolate ourselves? Should the church be a "holy huddle?"

No, not at all; but we must not "do things their way." We need to "stir one another up to love and good works" (Hebrews 10:24) and develop PARALLEL systems that are not based on evil principles. For example, bitcoin is a fabulous opportunity for us to use sound, biblical money.

We are "strangers and foreigners here," and as such we "seek the good of the city" (Jeremiah 29:7) where ever we happen to individually be (geographically). We are not "subject" to their "laws," but we are to be "wise as serpents but harmless as doves" and we can "go along to get along," provided we are not disobeying God (Acts 5:29), exercising wisdom to the extent possible and ALWAYS holding forth that JESUS is Lord and King, and our only allegiance and loyalty and fealty is to HIM.

Anyone working on integrating nostr into existing apps that are already awesome but would be more awesome with some nostr sauce added?

For example, I'd love to have my NewPipe database and history "nostrfied" meaning that I can login with my nostr identity and everything is just there.
