I think this conversation dovetails nicely into the situation with transgender women. As "women" in their minds, they see sex like women do, and they think a man could be attracted to them. But a straight man can't, not if he knows she's a biological male. I don't know why, I can only report on the facts. Something about being a straight man is far more absolute than anyone could ever imagine, it is not like how women (including transwomen) or gay men can be bisexual or something. We can't. It would probably be easier if we could be, but we can't.

So effeminate men can either grow up gay or transition into a transwomen. Neither case gives them any real prospect for finding a life partner. Because the effiminate man is not attractive to gay men (who are attracted to masculinity, not femininity) and this strange absolutism of straight men means that as a transwoman they can't land a straight man. They are damned if they do, damned if they don't.

My main point of this is that the majority of males that I know actually enjoy, have or would like to have 2 women together sexually. However these same men wouldn’t consider this as ‘gay’ at all, they consider this just an example of their fantasy and sexual urges.

However, if you ask them what they think about 2 men together sexual, well they get defensive and say it’s downright ‘gay’!

So in essence one sexual group isn’t gay but the other is, even though they are doing the exact same sexual acts.

That’s my point.

In Norway there is a 1.1% WEALTH TAX.

That's like being locked up in GBTC forever.

In 30 years the 1.1% compounds to about 40%.

So you could say that if you want to stay in Norway as a bitcoiner, you're gonna have to pay almost half your stack in that time frame. And if you're selling bitcoin to pay that, then you have to add capital gains taxes aswell.

Now, there is a lower bound for the wealth tax, and loans are discounted from your net worth. But this lower bound where if you go above it you are considered 'wealthy', is only about 170k USD.

Kindof an interesting comparison I thought, and maybe a useful lens to understand why hundreds of Norway's richest people have exited the country over the last few years (although we've had the wealth tax for longer than that, it did increase from 1% to 1.1% together with other policies disfavoring capital and entrepreneurship).
