hilarious piece of UX cruelty: if someone you follow here manually quote-posts someone who has blocked you *and* you’re using an app that displays quoted posts inline (Ivory, Mona, etc) …you see the Forbidden Posts, but then when you try to star or bookmark them, you get an error until you finally, belatedly figure it out 💀

don’t get me wrong: blocking is wonderful, more people should block me! but I probably won’t manually QP/QT anymore now that I’ve seen the security hole it creates, yikes
