Old Nostriches know this, but it's time to teach the new hatchlings all about being your own algorithm. This means that you need to put in the work to make your content seen. That means you have to engage with people. You have to comment on their notes and make yourself known, so that you can be found and followed. Lastly, if you have a banger of a note, there's nothing wrong with boosting your own note to allow it to be seen by other Nostriches in other timezones.

Haha well I'm at the "elder" end of millennial (technically a Xennial I guess - born in '82). But I appreciate being made to feel younger haha. And YES we have babies due in a few weeks!!

Hello out there 👋 I'm new here! I stumbled my way over here from #TikTok.

I'm an elder #millennial, burnt-out-IT person who's shifted more into design and marketing in recent years. I'm a #homesteading mama (but in a hippie sorta way; not a trad wife kinda way!). We have a herd of dairy goats and raise assorted poultry, and I do a lot of canning/preserving. I also love fiber arts, especially knitting and spinning. My partner is a musician (his band is called Northbound Soul), and we love going to shows. I also love going to see stand-up comics.

I'm super excited for this platform, as I ran screaming from Twitter/X but miss it's heyday. 🥲. Anyway, just wanted to say hello!
