Time for a dose of political reality. This is not the days Samuel Chase. As corrupt as Thomas is, he is part of a half century long project to turn the SCOTUS hard right, particularly to overrule Roe. These are the hurdles to impeachment for someone with life tenure and no desire to leave:

1) Impeachment must be by the House. The Speaker of this House literally rehabilitated Trump after he engaged in an attempted autogolpe because he wanted to be Speaker. He lets the right control him because he wants the chair. McCarthy is that power hungry and has that little political capital. He will never authorize an Impeachment inquiry for Thomas and never let articles get a floor vote. Not that that would matter because the principle over power members are all gone after they voted to impeach Trump the second time.

2) Even if impeachment could magically happen, the Senate requires 67 votes to convict and remove. That’s at least 16 GOP Senate votes. That. Will. Not. Happen.
