I can’t remember well, but I think I saw someone in Japan using it and I was looking for different clients, so I adopted it.
I personally like it a lot, it’s simple yet effective.

Unfortunately, I don’t see a massive wave of adoption here in Japan.
As far as I’ve seen, people are heavily invested in “web3”, stocks, RE.
There are Bitcoin owners but they usually like diversification.
Currently, the overall sentiment is that inflation is slowly rising.
Unions have requested to get a pay hike, most of the big companies agreed, signaling that we might be entering a period of stagflation.
Now, the BOJ can’t save the currency AND the bond market.
The yen has crashed, but who knows what’s to come.
