Time preference is real.
It ripples into every aspect of your life.
Health.
Wealth.
Relations.
Self discipline is self imposed adversity.
At its essence, it is self support.
It leads to progress and sovereignty.
You become more able to survive on your own, take care of your self, your community and thrive.
You become able to heal:
Yourself
Those around you
Those you haven’t met yet
Lower your time preference.
Nurture discipline.
Across a single dimension first.
Say physical endeavors…
When progress becomes constant,
And you gain momentum.
-> Add a new dimension.
Repeat process.
Become unstoppable.
Live like you were meant to.
Not like THEY mean for you to.
Last week, I guided a 75-year-old Argentine toward buying his first sats.
He was familiar with the #economic situation and #hyperinflation in his home country.
(He’d been living in #France for 30 years now)
We drew the parallels between #Argentina and #Lebanon, how #inflation destroyed our respective families’ #wealth.
He’s been saving in #gold for a long time yet wanted something new, more exciting and more #tech oriented, yet knew nothing about #stocks and #finance in general…
#Bitcoin was a match made in heaven for someone like him.
While explaining everything, I noticed he grasped the basics of wallets, recovery phrases quite fast.
I don’t even remember repeating myself - not even once…
(Contrary to many younger people I’ve orange pilled…)
After receiving some bitcoins, becoming at ease with sending, receiving and managing addresses, he told me:
“ I can’t believe how easy it is to send money that is like an investment as gold is…
How much can be supported in a single #transaction ?“
With a big grin on my face, I said: “Billions” 😏🤣
He was truly astonished.
It’s been more than a week and he’s getting deeper into the rabbit hole, asking me for more details and explanation, almost daily!

I don’t trust but can’t verify either😅
It lived. But still safer to deep clean it at Apple when back to Lebanon…
2 days ago I spilled a full cup of coffee on my laptop.
Had to turn it off & let it breath for the next 48hrs.
I was up with a fire #motivation to work and finish so many things on my plate.
It all went away and got replaced with anger and stress when the accident happened.
- How will I work now..?
- Should I take this day off and do other things..?
- Maybe the laptop won’t work again, it’s not the right moment to buy a new one right now..
I spiraled in thoughts for a while.
Then went on a walk. Got myself another #coffee. Cleared my #mind.
Got back to my desk.
Took my phone, plugged my earphones:
- Wrote #content
- Reached out to prospects
- Adjusted a #strategy
- Took a #meeting
- Crafted a #proposal
- Solved a #client #problem

Just sharing as I’m happy to have disregarded my f*cking excuses, did what I had to do, focused on what I could #control.
It was a win.
When you work on something as enriching and big as #bitcoin, you’ll find a solution, always.
