I think I did run across one distro that had minimal KDE install in the installer. I think it was KaOS Linux (Arch base with QT toolkit).
If you continue to struggle with issues you might want to try EndeavourOS (Arch base)or even Tuxedo (Ubuntu base). Both are nearly on opposite ends of the Linux spectrum.
I ran MX Linux (Debian base) for over a year and now I'm back to EndeavourOS with KDE6. Maybe I'll post my desktop if I remember.
If the inflation rate is zero then it's staying the same and not growing. The monthly or annual inflation rate is cumulative so the only way people would see inflation decline is with a negative inflation rate.

1. Spending - The Power of the Purse is controlled by Congress. Democrats controlled both the House and Senate through most of the last 8 years.
2. Bubble - People were escaping Democrat controlled states during Covid. Ran up housing prices.
3. Energy - Day one of Biden administration signed Executive Orders to stop drilling and lock up land contracts. This destroys the petrodollar of the 70's.
All of this was by design and everyone watched. Nobody said inflation under our current currency was going to stop, it was never intended. The Democrats simply put it into overdrive.
I do like the way Putin has given the Central Bankers the finger over the years. Why do you think the Central Bank puppet Zelensky cut off the water to the Russia/Crimea people? They wanted to start shit with Russia.
NOTE: The "Wall" was being built (same design) as far back as the Secure Fence Act of 2006. The entire project was funded under the Bush and Obama administration. Where did the money go?
