I personally think A/C was heavily overused, and still is in big corporate stores and offices, but the change is noticeable right now in the everyday shops and businesses. Interesting that you’ve noticed the same.

I’ve noticed a lot of places in Chicago commercial space turning off or significantly lowering their air conditioning this summer. This was a sin prior to COVID mania and this level of inflation. I don’t think people realize how bad it really is out there for small businesses right now.

I feel lucky as hell that I can work on freedom tech full time. Wouldn’t be here without y’all sharing the same vision of a better future where individuals are in control of their data online. There is so much more cool tech to build. Imagine if every phone was also a relay. This is the direction that damus is moving in. So many possibilities are unlocked after this.
