Two fronts of the future battle: the blockchain and the social graph.
Both are ways to coordinate power.
We have a pretty good idea on the territory that is the battleground for the blockchain: #Bitcoin.
The battle for the social graph is more up in the air, but I think that the direction is clear: If you are building your social graph on a permissioned media, then you can ultimately be controlled.
You have to build your social graph on firm ground. Bedrock. Something that can withstand attack.
