not sure if it’s a Nostr thing, but do you think you could optimise Damus more so that it doesn’t use so much mobile data?
I hardly use this app and it goes up so fast within minutes of use.
if you don’t believe me, reset your mobile data stats in the #iOS settings and use Damus for like 5 minutes then look at data usage 😬
hard to use when trying to be careful with data usage personally

The cross posting service is connect.nos.social and is actually totally independent from the nos.social iOS app. The connect uses a bot to crawl the nostr network and post to twitter. It works regardless of what Nostr client you’re using.

I tried the app, it’s pretty nice but was quite buggy - but yes ik it’s still in beta on TestFlight anyway
Yeah. It’s cool, just saw someone in the replies to the tweet ask if it could be open source, he said “once it becomes more battle tested and proven will consider it”.
I like how they’re bringing open source things back. I know their algo is open source but old Twitter used to open source a ton of stuff iirc

ah I re-downloaded Damus and logged in w my private key and it just removes all identifying info from your profile.
