How do I unblock someone on NOSTR. A scammer is impersonating a well known person in the Bitcoin Adoption space, reposting all her content and when I went to a note to block. I blocked the original note creator and not the imposter trying to scam.

Surprisingly, I've gotten more spam on the #Nostr than on the birb app.

One thing that worries me about the future is someone can gen many pubkeys and use bots to spam the shit out of someone.

Or, use it for harassment. You'd basically need to never turn on notifications or open the app as it'd be like a DDoS lol

The process from start to attack is far easier to employ with Nostr than traditional social media with having to register a throwaway email, check activation email, send a few responses, rotate IPs, before getting banned. Rinse, repeat.

Curious, what our mitigation options will be to thwart say tens of thousands of spam comments from destroying one's experience. Or, straight filling up a relay's disk and bringing it down.

Praying for my sister to successfully step away from a toxic person. A friend of hers that she writes fiction with has been overstepping her boundaries and blaming her for his own insecurities for a while now, and she's finally put her foot down because she knows she's not a bad person and her friend is taking advantage of her kindness. I've been turned off to him for a while now too, since he's tried to guilt me into managing his emotions for him too and being covertly narcissistic.

I'm there for her, and so are a lot of her other friends. Hoping she can get some distance and focus more of her creative energy into her own passions rather the spending it all catering to others' problems. 🙏

Here's a list:

- broken threads (I tap the reply, the rest of the thread is missing)

- "nostr:" urls are broken all over the place.

- for some reason images don't always load (is this NIP-95 crap still?)

- reposts/quotes should rebroadcast (did ya'll already get that one? I forget.)

- mute words

- custom feeds (can add defaults for newbs, like #photography, #art, etc.)

These are a few things I have to explain to new people, which seem like a degraded experience to a noob coming from Twitter, et al. or seem to be essential to manage the differences. They aren't a reflection of my feelings, to be clear. Just what confuses my fam and friends.
