Is Taj Mahal on your bucket list? โ

https://void.cat/d/2qrajsHAULsCJBAdH34w81.webp

If so, here are some useful tips I have collected, when visiting Taj Mahal๐Ÿ‘‡โ

โ

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Arrive early: โ

Taj Mahal will be packed with people in no time, so if you arrive early in the morning, it will be far less crowded, which will make the experience much better. It's best if you can be there around 05.30 am. ๐ŸŒ™ โ

Plus you'll also get to watch the sunrise, which is usually amazing when visiting Taj Mahal ๐Ÿ™Œ โ

โ

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Explore the place on your own:โ

When you enter the place there will be a lot of guides trying to sell you a guided tour. In my opinion, it is best to discover Taj Mahal on your own and in your own pace. But just make sure to do some research about the history of Taj Mahal - that will make your experience much better.โ

โ

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Make sure you have enough time โฑโ

Don't be in a hurry! Taj Mahal is so amazing and most people spend many hours exploring this place. I will advise you to have at least two hours at Taj Mahal. โ

And maybe even visit the place twice, if you want to catch the special light on both sunrise and sunset ๐ŸŒ… โ

โ

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Remember Taj Mahal is closed on Friday ๐Ÿ‘ โ

When can you see the Wildebeest Migration in Tanzania? โ ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ“†๐Ÿ‘‡โ

โ https://void.cat/d/fBTsfPZtLFzjaLdRckxpx.webp

๐Ÿ“† December to early March: โ

This is loosely considered as being the "beginning" of the migration. During December the migration moves towards the southern plains of the Serengeti. By late January to early March, the wildebeest calving season takes place.โ

This is one of the greatest spectacles of the Serengeti and the migration cycle as up to an estimated 8.000 calves are born each day, however some 40% of the newborns doesn't make it beyond 4 months. โ

โ

๐Ÿ“† Late May to Early June: โ

By this time the herd moves northwest where they must cross the Grumeti River, which is a feast for the crocodiles and a very dramatic spectacle ๐ŸŠ โ

Mind you that the exact time varies from year to year and lasts between 1-2 weeks before all the wildebeest's have crossed over. โ

โ

๐Ÿ“† July and August: โ

They head into Kenya and the Masai Mara National Park. Another incredible crossing of the Mara River takes place right at the border between Kenya and Tanzania. This too lasts for about 1-2 weeks and is difficult to predict exactly when this will happen. โ

โ

From the Masai Mara, the herd comes back to Serengeti by the end of the year and so the cycle repeats itself. โ

โ

Itโ€™s important to note that the wildebeest migration is part of the wild and untamed animal life at display in and around the Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara in Kenya.โ

โ

Therefore, your chance of experiencing the migration lies with the instinctive movement of millions of wildebeest, their behavior, and some planning on your part ๐Ÿ‘Œ โ

โ

Would you like to experience the wildebeest migration?

Damn this is a cool video! So pretty ๐Ÿ˜ How did you post a video here? I tried different things, but I can't make it work.

Thanks for your help
