There are two kinds of books about bitcoin:
1) How bitcoin is the best money mankind has ever seen
2) How the cast of CSI Miami tracked down one bad guy using the surprisingly public blockchain
Capitalism at its finest. Ayn Rand would be so proud.

If Nostr is gonna succeed, there needs to be more than a zapathon.
That said, a lot of the media outlets I see on here seem to think Nostr is a RSS feed.
There is plenty of room in between.
I think there’s a balance to be struck. Bitcoin and Nostr are complementary technologies in some respects, and there’s generally overrepresentation of specific communities amongst early adopters.
Early Nostr adopters are mostly bitcoiners similar to how OG bitcoin adopters mostly wanted to buy drugs. The question is whether adoption can scale beyond those early purposes.
I’m proud to be part of the bitcoin community, but there needs to be more effort to scale to adjacent communities and more content and engagement around all things not bitcoin.
I mean, Nostr is pretty much a bitcoin echo chamber right now. That has its pros and cons.
Agreed. It’s overrated and it only received notoriety because it was handed out to GIs in WWII.
The internet is written in pencil.
All hail the lords of oversight, paid to oversee but they always overlook.
If you thought California was big on climate change before, just wait until next week.
I’ll have what they’re having
We did it, guys! We broke 29k. nostr:note15a33te65x26jhpvkgyrtsntf2uavfjqp5v9hvgc50j7z2efut0ws4gu09d
We should all hope to someday slap as hard as this song does.
People should come with manuals.
I love the irony in this paragraph.
“Senior Communist Party officials also have a history of warning against ‘the trap of welfarism,’ saying the country aims to encourage people to accumulate wealth through hard work. There are also practical constraints to handouts, including local governments’ deteriorating finances and ensuring fair distribution.”
As long as humanity has money, there will be capitalism.
