You know this whole narrative of X vs. Nostr is like something out of a comic book. Richest man in the world vs. community of misfits.
For what it’s worth, I don’t think Nostr is even on Elon’s radar.
There will always be a tension between what you want to do and what you have to do. It’s how you grow as a person.
As soon as you eliminate one of those, you start to languish on the vine. Bullshit is the outside force you need to overcome the inertia in your life.
The big answers come where you least expect them.

I had an amazing conversation with a paraplegic woman over the weekend.
She’s been wheelchair-bound for a long time, overcome a lot, and has become a vocal leader and advocate in her community for people with disabilities.
“God has an answer for everything,”
she told me. “It may not be one we like or the one we’re looking for right now, but he has an answer and he knows what is coming.”
I found peace in what she said.
It’s become unpopular to say everything happens for a reason in this day and age. A downside of all the connection we have today is how ever aware we are of all the hurt and suffering in the world. And cynicism is a cheap way to score intellectual points.
Still, I think even if you’re not a person of faith, there is tremendous value in looking for silver linings. Either way, it’s the only choice we have.

Wow, that’s quite compelling. You could add social media to the mix where text, images, audio, and video have blended together in a catch-all platform.
I have to admit “content” doesn’t trigger me as much as “creator” does. I believe you do yourself a disservice by thinking of yourself as creative and the art suffers from self-importance.
No one knows where their ideas come from, and there’s a reason artists often look to God or a muse. Regardless of your relationship with a higher power, removing ego from the equation opens yourself up to the signal.
The term “content creator” is so funny to me.
It’s as if William Shakespeare, Steven Spielberg, and someone shaking their butt on Instagram are all in the same category.
