Weird Tales vol. 32, no. 2 (August 1938)

Classic Brundage Weird Tales art. Classic in the sense that the geometry of the wolf-girl's body doesn't really make sense. I like the goofy wolves.

Amazing Stories vol. 22, no. 4 (April 1948)

Wow that's a busy monster there. It's part spider, part owl, some kind of whisker thing going on, claws like a bird? We really just threw whatever we could find into the mix. It's in trouble, because the prop is still spinning. On the other hand the plane is held together with tape?

Fantastic Adventures vol. 14, no. 7 (July 1952)

I love the robot guy, I almost made him the header image. If you go into a place called “Suicide Swamp” you really only have yourself to blame, guys.

Now I'm off to see what kind of SF/Fantasy story is called ”One Guitar”.

Weird Tales vol. 16, no. 2 (August 1930)

I put that this is a “huge snake” in the Alt but, is it? I'm just going on the steps. It's a mistake not to put a human figure in something like this to give it scale. Its giant mouth is echoed by the carving on the wall behind it.

Worlds of IF (June 1972)

It's not clear if those circque-de-soleil things around him are real or a design element, but the whole thing is terrific.

I'm interested in reading any story called “The Dwarfs of Zwergwelt”, I have to say.
