The problem with politics is the same problem with sports teams.

Often you're pressured into picking one because all your friends like that one or that's where you grew up so you have to represent.

When your team is doing good, oh there's no better feeling right? You're on top of the world winning no matter what you do. But when your team is doing bad... The difference between slavery and freedom, is a mutually beneficial exchange, and one that isn’t. You claiming that things that require the human time of others to produce, are human rights, lets you violate the rights of others, which always leads to massive human suffering.

Governments “paying for it” is the government stealing from one person to pay another…it’s still theft, just less personal.

Someone else being forced to buy something for you, “because they can afford it,” is still theft, you just don’t have the balls to do it yourself. You hire out the dirty work to the government to shake down your fellow man.

My point is that people like Musk or Bezos could literally end world hunger with less than 0.01% of their fortune, yet choose not to bc they are greedy fucks and want a 30th mansion and a 10th yacht

People are already doing these things. I'm not asking for an engineer to give up his work and family to heal or educate.

But forcing someone to educate you is using force, aka violence. If you have a right to education, then another person must give up their autonomy, because you have a right. That is not a free society.

If you have a right to a house, then by extension, someone else must build the house. Some slaves must build the house for you, because it is your right to a house.

A doctor must provide care for you, instead of feeding his own family.

So you see, you don’t have any right to those things, because that would violate the property rights of other people. That is the communist brain rot that has infested our society for over 100 years, and probably killed more people than all wars ever fought, combined.

So it’s OK to steal as long as it’s something that you really need? Using violence, or threat of violence, to take something, instead of a voluntary exchange is wrong, no matter the circumstances.

How god tested you made you who you are. Be thankful for even those things you wish you could change about the past. There are so many things I did that I would be tempted to go back and fix, but then I may never have become who I am. Thanks for sharing.

When I was 16, I asked my parents to come help register me for school on the first day

They (or whichever one I was staying with that week) gave me 20$ bill and sent me off

I had to pay 150+ out of my pocket to register and get into hockey

Good thing I had just gotten my first paycheque from my first job at Mickey D's (people usually remember that they bought clothes or smth with that, for me it was paying for the right to be educated 😅)

Then people wonder why I have trouble asking for help (or even being offered it)

Not asking for anything from you lovely frens, some people don't even have parents and are therefore much worse off

What I do want you to do is think of me and maybe show a lil' sympathy for everyone who seems to act a bit like a 'lone wolf' as there is usually some form of trauma behind it
