Here comes the sweary INGSOC.

"proper way to understand Bitcoin"

So there IS a proper way. YOUR WAY. Riiiiight!

"We're all people mate.

I thought you were a Panda? "Mate"? Honestly, what a bore.

"And no, if your attitude to people is so negative, who the fuck would bother trusting you?"

"VERIFY, DON'T TRUST". https://mises.org/library/new-liberty-libertarian-manifesto

I don't have an attitude; YOU simply don't like being on a platform where people who don't think like YOU can say whatever they want, just like a good little INGSOC. Welll then, why don't you just block me and carry on with your thinking?

OH THAT'S RIGHT.

THERE IS NO BLOCKING ON NOSTR!

It is YOU that is giong to find life in the world powered by Bitcoin very difficult; YOU can't tolerate people who think differently to YOU. It's the greatest handicap of all. YOU ar the intolerantt one. This is about YOU.

Unlike YOU, Libertarians can tolerate other people and their speech. They know that all they have to do is not listen to people who they don't want to hear from, and everyone can live in the way they choose in peace.

YOU on the other hand, being an INGSOC, are not happy if there is ANYONE who thinks differently to YOU; those who are different must be rebuked, excluded, pilloried and then CANCELLED. This is happenign to Nigel Havers right now in INGSOC, for simply saying books should not be "updated".

It is your world that is being abolished by Bitcoin, and you are not going to like it. Thankfully you can't write to your "representative" to stop speech that YOU don't like in the coming Bitcoin powered world. People like YOU will be stopped forever; that's why Bitcoin was written.

Satoshi knew the side effects of bad money; bad people, nosey parkers, busybodies, the intolerant, the backwards, all having their "say" in how things are governed. That all ends NOW thanks to Bitcoin.

Will it be unvomfortable to people like you? YES.

Is that a bad thing? NO.

Is there anything YOU can do about it? NO.

And that's all there is to it, my Theakston's Old Peculiar friend!

Imagine it’s 2147. The last Bitcoin block has been mined. And you, and everyone else working in Bitcoin are all dead. When the people living in the glorious Bitcoin future look back on you, if you’re even remembered at all, what will they say about your legacy?

If you have anything to do with ”Ordinals” you will be looked upon with scorn and contempt. What you did was put an irrevocable technical burden on all future generations, who have to carry your monkey images around forever. Disgusting.

In history and ethics lessons, they will look at NFT “Ordinal” images and be totally perplexed at how anyone could think this was a worthwhile and ethical use of the scarce resource that Bitcoin is, and how they could burden future men and women with something so manifestly trivial and selfish.

And what will they say about you? If you are Ben Lasky, they will put you in the same category as the authors of Jim Crow and Miscegenation laws, of Communists, and Apartheid. Your photo will be in the gallery of evil men in history, between Pol Pot and Stalin.

And all the hangers on and cowards who believed in the State will be in the “also ran” classification as Petit Statist, Petit-Banquier, Crony Capitalist, who couldn’t code, wouldn’t invest and should’ve known better.

You people need to stop and think. Think about the future, about what your legacy will be and how you can actually help other people, rather than satisfy your base urges to ruin, control and destroy.

It’s hard to predict who the people living today are that have secured their place in history. The obvious ones always come to mind, but there are some who are so important, so obviously key figures in shaping the future, that it’s easy to spot them today. It’s also easy to say they’ll be remembered because history will not be told by the class of people tasked with preserving snd disseminating the truth in 2023 (government schools and “Mainstreal Media”).

President Nayib Bukele is someone who almost certainly will be remembered; he took the first step into the future with a bold vision very few had, but which turned out to be right. His will be a textbook story of risk taking and future oriented thinking; the exact opposite of the “Ordinals” pushers and incomprehensible creatures like Hillary Rodham Clinton and other “Democrats” who deny math and reality.

The future is coming. It’s hard to predict the specifics in most cases, especially when it comes to the effects of something like Bitcoin, which will touch everything. But you can be sure of some parts of it. A single Bitcoin is going to worth a Manhattan city block. Everyone will use Bitcoin, no one will question it. Its detractors will be dead, buried and discredited.

Don’t make the mistake of betting against Bitcoin, polluting it for giggles, trying to regulate it, “for the good of everyone”, and bringing your filthy Statism with you into the future.

The future doesn’t want or need your filth.

TRUST ME.

Slavery must end. No compromise is acceptable to all ethical people. https://twitter.com/Beautyon_/status/1646970432657018909

TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO HEAR. OVER. AND OVER. AND OVER. AND OVER…

"Of all the objections to Bitcoin, the objection that it “wastes” electricity is the most absurd. This thinking betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of how electricity works, how markets work, and what waste is." https://fountain.fm/episode/14694874220
