Madeira was such a great experience. Wow, what an absolutely beautiful place. Had a great time with old friends and new. If this happens again, I will defiantly get to it.
Sitting here in Madeira at Bitcoin Atlantis, listening to human rights activists. Moving, sad, but yet hopeful. Thoroughly inspiring.

Honestly an ROI is nice, but freeeom is what BTC is all about. I’m trying to have a few Friends read “Check Your Financial Privilege”, by Gladstein.
The Bitcoin Standard is a must read.
Here in the west, it’s bad enough with the Fed and central bank.
But I think of one can get people to understand how important BTC is for the 3rd world, it might be an easier sell.

I’m not a tech guy. Just a simple freedom loving pizza guy. First day of 2024 and you all give me hope. In fact BTC and Nostr are really the only potential way out of this BS that I see. I finally pulled the trigger and had a bitcoin meetup a couple months ago. I’m going to try to make it at least 4 a year. Our location, here in Colon, MI. (Yes, I said Colon) 3 hrs E of Chicago, 2 hrs W of Detroit, 3 hrs N of Indy, 1.5 hrs S of Grand Rapids, should make us a good location for people in those areas to meet here.
