you're left with the feeling that all that common advice people give you actually worked in their case, maybe because their knowing-doing gap is small, so they're execution machines that rarely have to work around their limitations. they can just decide on stuff and carry it all the way through. the stark opposite of that is ADHD, which is what i have. i'm a highly unproductive person most of the time because i rarely manage to get my shit together. the average person sits somewhere in between these two extremes.

i'm actively hunting down profiles that aren't Bitcoin-oriented, because there are more than enough of those.
i had opportunities in my 20s in the computer industry and i took those and worked several jobs, but seeing as i kept burning out and thus had no chance of working myself up to a senior level, i'm not going down that path again. i'm 40 now and you're supposed to be settled down and financially sound at this point, but it hasn't worked out that way for me. if i left the country, i'd lose absolutely nothing.
nah, i don't need to budget better. i need an income spacious enough to budget in the first place, which comes from opportunities instead of living on unemployment benefits.
