Growing up my dad used to give us a ginseng cubes he'd found in our local china town. He give us a cup of tea with the ginseng dissolved in it everyday. He'd say it's to help you at school.
Looking at it with adult eyes I can see it's use better.
He meant it'll help you think clearer and learn better. So it means better brain power.
Here's what the root vegetable looks like and this is how you can use it. If you have a cold or want some boosted brain power.
Cut up small pieces and boil it in water. Pour it in a cup add a little honey if you want.
It can be quite strong and can taste a little spicy. https://nostrcheck.me/media/public/nostrcheck.me_4943464674033493591693808677.webp

We lived in Vietnam 18 months during the pandemic, then visited Turkey 3 months, a month in Greece and then a year in Spain where we home birthed our baby... After that we did two months in Bulgaria and now we returned for the easy life in Vietnam. After this we will head back to NZ for a bit followed by anyone's guess where π π€©

Sorry team #nostr. I feel like I've been letting us down a bit lately. π
I got my π₯ back. For years I tried building online income streams and got no where. When Covid hit, we survived on our savings and hustling online until mid 2021. I started to feel our incomes vanishing, we were still stuck in Vietnam. We were literally at our last $20, and I managed to get my remote job, borrow $2K for my laptop and we survived long enough for my first pay to arrive. π
Soon after, we discovered we were pregnant with Miss M. We knew we wanted a homebirth - that wouldn't happen in Vietnam... And then we learned NZ was still closed even to citizens. We had to make a bold decision. We rebooked our flights that were cancelled since April 2020.
There was a massive adventure making it from Central Vietnam to Hanoi in the midst of the entire country locking down. We made it on the final flight out of Da Nang. I cried as week took off because knew there were so many people about to miss their international flights due to being unable to get to Hanoi. I just could not believe we'd made the flight as 4 hours earlier I had just finished work and heard the last flight was going that afternoon. π
We flew to Turkey and spent 3 weeks in Istanbul. Then the next six weeks in Kas. Then we did a two week roady loop to make some of the most epic memories of our time abroad.
After three months in Turkey, we bounced to Greece, I narrowly avoided a premature birth and then we decided to go to Spain earlier than planned. Thankfully we made it to full term. We got a magical unassisted home birth. And the 19 months that have followed have been me on that hamster wheel.
I slept for my 3 month mat leave. Then functioned as best I could. I work, sleep, repeat. My days off are usually sleep in, eat out sleep.
Although we still got to travel and meet amazing families, my time has been limited. Thanks to meeting families with more time freedom, I became inspired to start again. β¨
So I've been working hard again. I dropped my hours at work and started rebuilding my online gigs. It's worth it. It's going to take a bit of time for me to get my confidence back... but I am getting there. Baby steps!
I realised Nostr isn't necessarily an ideal platform to leverage for online sales just yet. So I've been working on our travel Instagram again. I'm building reels. I know it's a bit sucky, and I would love to be doing all that over here... and as Nostr grows, perhaps I can properly transition here fully and bring a community with me π€
For now, forgive my inconsistency. Once I'm able to regain my work hours back and transition to full time online mumpreneur, I'll be back 2 x a day again π€©π₯

That's sooo good. Thank you for doing it! I think these are important conversations for young people growing up. Especially these days πππ
Absolutely. We chat about this stuff all the time with our children. The perks of keeping them home I guess. We're all blessed to still have you with us π

My energy levels are returning. Who knew it would be the excitement of creating something that created energy out of thin air?!
I hope you're all having a fantastic Thursday or Friday wherever you are π
Hi, nostr:npub1cly0v30agkcfq40mdsndzjrn0tt76ykaan0q6ny80wy034qedpjsqwamhz,
I created a wonderful product about a decade ago. It's something I truly believe every family needs, but it is languishing because I'm clueless about marketing...
And so your note has obviously intrigued me...π€π§ππππ
Ohh now your note is intriguing me! I'm curious what you created π―
If it's something you could sell online then it's quite possible this could help. If it's bigger and needs to be manufactured (in maybe China or something like this) then I may know some people who might be able to connect you or provide a few pointers to get you started. ππΌ
What's your time zone? Feel free to DM me if you think it's worth jumping on a quick call to chat. π
