Hey Pablo π
How are you and your family?! Whatβs new??
Thanks! π it has been the best adventure. Looking forward to Hong Kong ππ° and then who knows where in October ππ
2012 days = 66 months. 66 months of seeing new places (and a lot of old). Two laps around the world. π
From Aussie, to NZ, to Vietnam which became home during the times of lockdowns. A book has to be written about that (working title, Freedom in the time of Lockdowns).
No option to go back to NZ, so on to Turkey, Greece, then Spain for the birth of Manaia.
A year of settled life and learning language. Then on to Bulgaria, back to Vietnam, then in and out between Vietnam and Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos.
Then tiredness kicked in and we returned to NZ to stay long term for the first time since 2011. It wasn't meant to be. I got spoiled with a one week trip to NYC, USA - a dream I had since 2010 β
Then back off around the world, Malaysia, Spain, UK, a Trans-Atlantic Cruise (didn't see that coming), The Azores, British Virgin Islands, St Marteen, Antigua and Barbuda, Martinique, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, USA (LA for a two night stop over), Japan (Tokyo and Osaka)... Back to Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia.
Wow, wow, wow. π€©
If you asked me in 2009 what my life would look like - let's just say I had a pretty depressing outlook back then. I had to do some deep digging to draw out my dreams, and this is my dream. πͺ
Never, ever be afraid to dream. It's so so worth it. Not necessarily something they teach in schools. But they should. You are manifesting every moment of your life. Your attitude = your altitude. Get out that notebook and dream big impossible, wild, limitless dreams.
Now for my next big dreams under construction. Helping others to make their big dreams become their reality.

I think I need to listen to this before I do my overland China trip in October?!?

Hey #nostr π
Who might be in Hong Kong towards the end of August? π
I havenβt been taking many photos lately. Iβm working really hard to rebuild an oldish website I had that I wasnβt super happy with. Hopefully, in the not too distant future Iβll be able to hang out here much more often π€©
In the meantime hereβs a sunset from probably last month

Oh this makes me happy. Now Iβm settling down a bit Iβll check in a little more. π€©
Thank you. And, Yes definitely happy to be slowing down again in Vietnam. π How are you? βΊοΈ
Just dropping by to say hello π
Weβve had a wild six months, bouncing from Dominican Republic, to Colombia, to Panama, to USA, to Japan, back to Vietnam, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and now settled into Vietnam a while.
As usual, Iβm tired, working and just keeping life going.
Howβs nostr life? π

Nawww thank you π I need to post more here. I really just want my family and friends to also come to nostr. I need some Nostr merch and have to start doing meta live streams with nostr gear on and hopefully move some over. I need to think this out. I'm sure I can live stream here and post links to it on my other platforms π€£
Fell off the posting wagon sorry nostr π€·ββοΈ
Anyways, since Dominican Republic, we spent a week in Colombia, a night in Panama, a couple of days in LA & now we're in Japan π€©
Japan is cold. Probably the wrong time of year to go sight seeing with small children who love the tropical weather. We've spent half our time here shopping for winter clothes π€£
Anyways. I'm still here. Just distracted or trying to focus and not getting anywhere. I want to write my books. Just maxed out with #mumlife, work, and #travel life.
Books are my exit strategy. Getting the energy to write and be in the creative mindset is my wall right now. I will break through. Just may take a little bit.
How are you all?
πΈ My favourite door in Cartagena, January 2025 π
Nice! This makes total sense. Thanks you ππ
Oh yeah we are very very unschooly, so don't use any curriculum. We let kids follow their interests. I'm pretty sure my daughter is an expert at geometry with her art, but we've never formally taught anything like that. π
I feel like it's almost time to write some books again... Miss M is starting to sleep a lot better. But now comes the hard bit. Do I write about Worldschooling in general? Our travel during 2020/21? General travel stories? Some of my ideas about life? Or my fiction piece based in 2071? π€·ββοΈ
Hmmm. There may also be other books I started too. π
What would you read about? π¦βοΈπ
