Soaked a couple of rhubarb crowns, though have to plant those tomorrow. The Sourdough Rye bake this morning turned out tasty, and made a mushroom olive pesto pizza for dinner. Wild honey bee hive discovery

https://v.nostr.build/jYgrj.mp4

Observe and Interact, while collecting the maple sugaring equipment from the woods I noticed honey bees frequently landing on the buckets to drink some of the sweet sap. There was so many of them around, I thought the hive must be somewhere nearby. I made sure to look up and at any large trees with holes in their trunk. I quickly found a cherry tree swarming with honey bees! If I have time I'll set a swarm trap later this spring and see if we can get some bee hives going again.

So cool! My brother raises bees though in another state. He gave me three of his old frames. Iโ€™m waiting on taking on the bee project until I get garden and perms-orchard areas rolling well. All in time. Great to hear that you are doing this ๐Ÿ
