Just got an email from nicehash, who I've not logged in to for years, telling me that UK residents are no longer allowed to use their services.
Looks like the government are getting desperate.
It says at the top that if you want to pay with bitcoin you have to set the currency to Euro at PayPal - not sure why, guess it was just a workaround that was easier at the time

So I've decided to stop lugging the laptop on/off the boat and convert it to a new use, a retirement job, so to speak, running a new node - it's going to be left at a mates, one thing you can't avoid on a boat is humidity - but now it's going to be a dedicated #btc device I can start adding all the bells and whistles.
