Yeah “data ownership” in nostr is tricky. You only own it in the sense that you can prove you were the one who made it. Absolutely no control over where that JSON blob goes!
Have any python people started playing around with Mojo? Any fun examples? I wish the dependencies were there to test some nostr stuff, but I don't think they are. What are people's thoughts on mojo and the future of python in general?

Are there any archive relays floating around that might have old events? For some reason I can’t seem to see anything before February on Damus, amethyst, or advanced-nostr-search

I spent a few days tearing apart and rebuilding python-nostr back at the start of the year. There really is no better way of learning what a nostr events is. It’s a great way to understand subscription requests too!
Also nip-1 really is quite approachable if one sits down and actually digests it.
