I don’t blame you, it seems pretty far-fetched that they would actually work and remain stable. I think Nostr gives the best chance of success, but that doesn’t mean they will (or should) succeed.

Seems like the most likely route to this is to get Andrew Yang and the Forward Party on board. Not that anyone is taking them seriously, but the ground work is there and I believe they are open to tech - possibly more on the web3 side than the money side.
Basically, Andrew Yang needs to be orange pilled.
Well technically, nostrocket will probably qualify as a “DAO” at some point. I fully expect DAOs to emerge on nostr and be useful. Of course most DAOs at this point are just a reason to issue a new token Ponzi
It’s pretty hilarious looking at this now given that nostr solves every problem IOTA wanted to solve. Nostr can be a backbone for IOT… they were right that blockchain wasn’t the answer, they just completely missed the fact that you don’t really need any form of consensus for 95% of applications. Pretty sure it’s printing tokens to fund development. The excuse being that the project will die without it. Of course the project has been dead for years by any reasonable standard and was a fools errand from the start.

Is there a reason not to go with this simpler one from the same company? Looks like the db are similar and airflow is still higher than the stock S9. Of course I may be missing a lot here…
