Thinking about python, geospatial, forestry, and LiDAR in small-town Idaho.

Very cool. And I wouldn’t call it a problem! It’s already very polished compared to other App Store options. Well done!

You can request apps not yet on nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8 - just ask.

ZS is aiming to bring in the app devs, so that:

1) they can sign the app, and you can verify this

2) so you can interact directly with your favorite app’s dev

Obtainium is great for directly linking to github apk. ZS will build app communities.

Makes sense that it may just be outside of the scope of the app! Would just be a convenience to have both if that functionality fit well within the current framework (I think it still does)

So many of the apps I am looking for are there (Nextcloud, obsidian) and signed by zapstore. Yubico Authenticator I had to add to use obsidian to add and track the APK source directly from GitHub. Effectively, it would be awesome if you could define your own source and potentially even publish/share to nostr it with others (signed by your npub). The web of trust features and filters could help eliminate most of the junk.

I think what I am asking for is a way to add an APK source directly from GitHub (or other) that the app will track for updates. Maybe there is a way to do that and I just don’t know how

Zapstore is awesome! It would be like all I need if they had functionality like Obtanium as well

Had an amazing week in Puerto Vallarta with my wife. No turkey, but had some amazing food, learned some Rust, and came back with some art made by an incredible artist from Guadalajara who specializes in oil paintings.

#artstr

Decided on the 9 Pro this time - planning on flashing with grapheneOS as well

Will do! Lots of android apps on my list to test, but am going to miss some of the awesome iOS clients

Oh thank god. Finally ordered a pixel today.

Sparrow is a really nice wallet if you want to ditch ledger live. If you don’t trust the device you can go multisig and start with it as a single key to mitigate the risk. Nunchuck.io has both assisted (subscription) and regular multisig available if you want a multisig specific interface.

The truth is slightly different. There are several domains around cashu as there are several domains around nostr. I pointed http://cashu.cash which was an idea that I had and bought. Calle then made accusations of me squatting it, and various threats to extort it. I simply said that it was not in my current plans, given the hostile reaction. He then banned me from the chat room. Quite ridiculous really. He already has a home page. Each to their own.

lol at least own up to being a domain squatter if that’s clearly what you’re doing

Yup, zip tie on the power supply with some heat resistant padding underneath and zip ties for the fans! I found the zip ties somehow produced less noise than the 3D printed fan attachments. Probably something to do with the airflow around/through the housing
