In nostr every reply have tags of previous replies, so if you ask relay for replies of specific post, you are not getting just the main level replies but also replies of replies.
It’s a matter of grouping and how to show them/filter them locally and thats what i said, we have to improve our app in this area.
It’s same with downloading thread, if you want to get whole chain of post, they are usually included on tags on the main post. In some cases they are not (bugs etc) and we need to better handle those cases, cause it’s sometimes not downloading whole thread (pretty commong bug across multiple clients)

I get what you saying. Actually thats why there is a line above the comment “replying to xxx”, where you can see that he is not replying to himself.
But im not saying its good or perferct, we have it marked as a something to redesign/redo (we want to do grouping in comments that will connect posts together).

On iOS the speed improvement update is not out yet, so be ready that it will be even faster :)
There was an issue in Damus, that it was opening nostr: links on mentions, which other app are reacting to. On testflight its already fixed.

Okay, spend today a solid time on optimization, refactoring, and better work with events. Everything led up to the point where every place in the app loads so much faster.
Also, we did some fixes like stuck zapping, design improvements on the overview, better loading URL in the text, showing replies immediately in detail, and more…

Next up: mention suggestions in the new post page and finish up DM’s with #[0] and more… (i see a solid lidt of things to do)
