AOSP est complètement dépend de Google malheureusement. Et /e/ étant un fork de Lineage est lui aussi dépendant d'AOSP et donc Google. Le jour où Google ne permet plus le déverrouillage et reverrouillage du bootloader des Pixels et qu'il arrête de développer AOSP on perdra beaucoup.
Récemment ils ont supprimer les apps SMS et Contacts qui étaient déjà bien à l'abandon, ils favorisent évidemment leurs apps propriétaires.
Linux a encore du chemin à faire mais je suis optimiste.
Toutes ces solutions dépendent aujourd'hui de Google 🤫

C'est important que les linux phone se développe, j'ai hâte de voir WayDroid devenir utilisable (caméra, GPS, fluidité, etc...) et qu'il trouve un moyen relativement privée et secure pour implémenter microG ou autre couche de compatibilité. Je pense que pour une période de transition ça sera nécessaire.

I don't use Zelle as it isn't available to my country. It's just a way to obfuscate your phone number to your BTC dealer. Please do not use SMS verification as a 2FA for your Zelle account. Maybe asolutikon like MySudo would be more easily trusted however I can't use their service in my jurisdiction and it might be the same for you.

Agree, but it’s auditability issues and other complications caused by its anonymity make it much less favorable as a global economic system. There’s obviously a use case for privacy-oriented solutions, but I wouldn’t categorize them as second-best. Rather a tool for an extremely narrow audience.
Bitcoin is good enough for most users and provides options to stay pseudonymous given that you follow basic privacy practices.

I don't think #Monero is in competition with #Bitcoin to become the new global economic system. However as a cryptocurrency I could easily sees it as a second best as it's decentralized, community driven, private by default. Like you said it's a tool, just like #Bitcoin and like #Bitcoin it does things well and other things aren't ideal. The privacy on Bitcoin do exist and avoiding KYC when buying is probably the easier steps. However the peace of minds that #Monero brings while spending is a big advantages over all the amazing privacy tools for #Bitcoin that are used by a really small number of #plebs .
I think privacy on Bitcoin L1 and L2 will improve over the year.
