I went down the automation and AI rabbit hole today. I didn’t like what I found.
I’m going to leave out the potential of singularity and the doom and gloom. (Which of course is a major concern)
But what I’d like to focus on is, at what point is enough, enough? For example. Right now, you may not like to sweep your floor, so you buy one of those floor sweeping robots. Then you don’t want to mow your lawn. So you go buy an AI smart lawn mower and program it to mow your lawn the way you like it.
Then you don’t want to drive anymore so you buy a Tesla and use the self driving (guilty, I used to have a model Y, it is convenient) however I didn’t like giving the trust of me and my family’s lives to a self driving software. So no more Tesla. (Great car though)
Moving on, let’s fast forward 20 years into the future. Many more things are automated. Now you don’t have to cook, clean, drive, do anything physical. You don’t need to write music because ai can do it for you, paint, because ai can do it for you, Literally every part of being a human and living life is done by a robot, or AI. And it may not be as good as some people right now but believe me, at the rate of current improvement it will be much better than you in the near future.
Almost every job out there will be automated because it’s more profitable. Our entire global economy prioritizes profits over almost anything. Why not automate it all? We can see corporations and small businesses doing it now, why would they stop?
So what happens to the majority of people? When their labor and intelligence is far below the capabilities of automation and AI? What will be the need for them? They still need resources and they will have very little if anything to offer eventually.
You see how this starts to become really scary? And this is just scratching the surface.
Please share your thoughts. I would love to hear another prospective.
I think lots of young peeps would be into it. Unfortunately they may spend the rest of their lives in a fake world instead of enjoying the real world and trying to “upgrade” their own lives

Diversifying isn’t only for the rich. It’s for those that think critically and can anticipate possible outcomes other than the ones that flow perfectly with your life. Get multiple passports, multiple home bases, learn multiple languages, create multiple income sources, hold your wealth (big or small) in multiple currencies (including BITCOIN in cold storage) the list goes on and on.
